With the advent of the proclamations of “freedoms” in the 1960s and 1990s, history bears witness, the ‘freedomania’ evoked in our people by politicians, could not be measured up to by the subsequent harsh and disgruntling realities that followed.

In 1994 it was proclaimed in South Africa that Black people were free. Hype was created that kindled the ‘freedomania’ in our people. When their supposed government could not measure up to the hype, a famous retort and a cliché “Our democracy is still young”, was conceived. There was a meticulous interchangeable usage of the terms ‘freedom’ and ‘democracy’. Notably, the post -1994 era could not be called the freedom dispensation. Instead, “Democratic dispensation” or “Constitutional dispensation” was the terminology. Could this have been an innocent words variation or a crafty language invented within political and legal fraternities to simply bury the pain of our people under jargon? Although South Africa annually celebrates Freedom Day on April 27, freedom dispensation has not yet been ushered into.
Surely, ‘Freedom Day’ did not mark the beginning of the freedom dispensation. If democracy does not spell freedom, and an impression has been created that it does, one actually lives in a hypocritical dispensation. The famous retort from the ‘powers that be’ that says “Our democracy is still young”, leaves much to be desired as one wonders how the so-called young democracy which does not suffice to redeem a wretched Black soul has been paying so much great dividends to politicians. How do they get fat paychecks out of it? Isn’t this a rather strange or abusive way of nursing, nurturing and bring up the ‘baby democracy’?
Why does this democracy seem to be flourishing and thriving in a climate where poverty is necessary for the gluttons to recline on the table? You only free to step on everybody in order to get what you want- greed and evil ambition are organizing forces. A social system that has been engineered is the one feeding on degeneracy- destruction of people’s moral fiber and distortion of their spiritual make up. As a result, you have a society that is apathetic to its problems. There is not a communal sense of collective responsibility, so, a concerted effort is not made to try and address these problems.
With higher rates of illicit drug use, alcoholic consumption, criminal convictions, domestic violence, and so forth, our society has shown itself to be the most vulnerable. Maybe we need to check the parameters of our security. What forms that? It is the leadership, as stated above. The black society remains vulnerable and completely permeable such that all forms of negative and destructive energies, be they emotional, be they psychological, be they political, be they cultural, be they mental, for the simple reason that the security has been breached. We have been watching helplessly the disintegration of our society and have never had a fleeting thought as to who allows all these vices that destroy the moral fiber and the spiritual composition of our people.
It has only become so hypocritical, if not naïve and myopic, of this society to gauge its success in terms of political representation, massive buildings, cars, more houses and easy access to technology but very poor at heart. The Black society has become so individualistic, individuals are lovers of money and of themselves and they have learnt not to feel and relate to a fellow man.
Whatever means, as a people we may think we have to bring about meaningful changes to our lives in order to create a new social order; we must remember and keep it foremost in our minds that every substance is material advent of a pre-conceived thought. The transformation must begin with the mind.
Transformation is a trite and mostly deliberated upon concept in institutions of ‘higher’ education within the domain of what is called student politics. To these naïve Black student activists, transformation is dissected within the context of access to and exit from these institutions. The transformation agenda entails fighting against academic and financial exclusions, fee increment etc. They have gullibly taken education given to them as innocent. The content of the curriculum is never questioned. The level of critique, if any, does not penetrate the higher regions of the definer’s intellectual sphere.
The genius that has engineered all sciences constituting the University faculties is never deciphered. No wonder the type of education our youth receives makes them so aloof of their immediate surroundings, their own realities, own people and own selves. They are Africans studying in institutions that do not, through curricula and syllabi, encapsulate the African essence in respective areas of academic persuasions. With the Eurocentric curriculum, what is taught radiates and responds to the promptings and yearnings of Europe and turns a naïve and unsuspecting Black child into an agent of that response.
Clearly, norms, ideas, values, principles and beliefs are the basis of every school of thought, be it political, be it moral, be it economic, be it social, be it cultural. All these different intellectual spheres are a frame of reference in the conceptualization, formulation, establishment and implementation of sciences. Educational institutions form a bridge between conceptualization and implementation processes. It becomes vivid that a true transformation can only be brought about with the eradication of an old mind whence from new definitions and depictions will provide a new intellectual framework based on new ideas and principles for the new social order and arrangement. However, this is not an easy task, the major ingredient one needs posses in carrying out this profuse mission Ben calls the power to define. :
How could we have gotten along with an anomaly of playing a game against an opponent who is also a referee in that very match? Europeans seized the power to define and provided us with “solutions” that have placed us in perpetual pupilage under them. They defined God, salvation, angels, heaven, hell and satan. God was defined as European, angels as being winged white women wearing nightgowns, heaven and earth as being mythical and satan a body-less spirit. The great effect this ruse had on Africans was programming them to readily and credulously sanction everything European as being sacrosanct. In all our efforts, to try and make common causes with the white establishments we have done nothing but invited more contempt and alienation. We have set ourselves up in motion to being infused with ideas of white superiority.
In every revolution, the primary target of the enemies of the revolution is the leader of the revolution. His life is danger for as long as the objectives of the revolution are not yet realized. When we see his life starting to change for ease and comfort, we have to conclude that the revolution has either been successful or betrayed and abandoned.
Considering the enormity by which a ruse called religion was propagated and perpetuated with the turning upside-down of African values, one is forced to conclude that there has been a serious breach of security because it is the African mind that has been broken into. The gravity of this onslaught lies in the fact that it is the mind that carries the control instruments over all substance. The revolution was miscarried for our susceptibility to the influence and control of Europeans. Africans were tenaciously coaxed in the illusory color-blind world of integration depicted by white liberals and black apologists as ideal for them. On the contrary, a world in which right is actually wrong and heaven actually hell was created.
Left with no value system of their own, Black people sought to make common causes with the white establishment. This is where they ironically started to invite for themselves more contempt. They presented themselves to their enemy on a silver platter. Africans were psychologically prepared for the inculcation, by Europeans, of a new thought, new world view, and new image that would turn an African into his own worst enemy and enemy of creation and everything that is good. Our adversary had simply taken on a new form. He had deceptively transfigured himself to an idea, thought, concept, style and belief. Chains of oppression and slavery which he had removed from our feet, he has now put in our minds.
The new form our adversary took made the liberation task more difficult for it was the one unidentifiable and unopposable. The very enemy we were up and fighting against has vanished and the African mind is his ultimate hiding place. Your enemy is now the very foreign mind you posses, the new idea you implement of which the culmination has always been us finding ourselves walking towards a direction that is relative to his dictates and objectives.
Our world view was narrowed. We were given a world view through which we could see the world only in terms of what it observable and not what it stands on, the foundation. Our value ascriptions to objects we see is informed by how those objects are imaged in the culture that a particular value system carries. Culture is not just traditions; it is taught, studied, believed and then practiced. It is clearly rooted in a belief. You affect a person’s world view if you influence their beliefs about they see, feel, smell, hear and touch everyday, most significantly what they see in themselves. Our enemies defined for us the problem and the solution. They became both referees and players in the same game we were up and playing against them.
"We live in a world that has produced out of us a people whose self-image is based upon the image of another, who view the world through the eyes of those who are bent, in arrogance and aggression, on endeavoring to keep us at the bottom of every pile. "XENOPHOBIA": A FLAGRANT AND MALICIOUS MISNOMER TO BLACK-ON-BLACK VIOLENCE
Black on Black violence, craftily and meticulously coded "xenophobia", a deliberate, deceiving and malicious misnomer to the current unfortunate and news making Black condition in South Africa, should from the bird's eye view be understood and dissected within the context of white supremacy system as one of the most important substances brought forth and harvested by its social engineers and scientists. Understanding the psycho-dynamics of white supremacy, understated white racism, it would seem that with the ultimate decadent manifestation of self-hate, that the so-called xenophobia is, this anti-black system would have either earned itself eternity or an assurance to longevity.
Since, history bears witness, this goliathic system's survival depends on the vastness or the extent to which Blacks and other non-whites hate, negate and annihilate themselves, it stands to reason that the spawning and nurturing of Black self-annihilation would appropriately most probably be the duty of those with vested interests- a white racist/supremacist society.
Given the above, a question may arise; how is this malady possible under the 'black government?'. It would seem that our struggle has either been hijacked by sell-outs posing as revolutionaries or naïve people who lack a deeper understanding of the dynamics of white racism/supremacy and its magnitude and effect on the victims. Since 1994, with the proclamation of freedom which has revealed itself a 'free-doom' on our people, all emancipatory programs, purportedly aimed at empowering our people, ever implemented by the social reformers, lacked the moral content evoking a sense of purpose and alignment with the impartation and instilling of knowledge and consciousness of being to our people. Our people were given a husk without the kernel. Our wound has been treated as though it were not a wound at all. Our problem is not purely economical, we are not mere economic forces as materialists would suggest, we are also moral agents as spiritually composed.
Among the so-called 'Black middle class', into which former freedom fighters have been fashioned, there is a tendency to deny the well known, at least to the mentally liberated, antecedents of Black-on-Black violence, that are rooted in white racism's devastating legacy or overlook and blurring its continuing impact on the Black population. Black self-hate manifested in what is coded 'xenophobic attacks' in Alexander, Diepsloot and elsewhere in South Africa and the rest of the Continent has, at its matrix, racism and psycho-social conditioning going hand-in-hand, and underprivileged young Black males appear to be the most bitter incubators of this venom.
Apartheid South Africa had always embraced materialism and individualism as integral components of its racism. Having internalized a shallow western way of thinking with its capitalist values, our people have become reluctant to challenge the powers that be because doing so is tantamount to challenging themselves. However, the anger subsists and is now being misdirected.
I think it's about time that true revolutionaries rise and pick up the baton to conscientize the colonized black minds and redirect the focus of our people to real issues of the struggle pointing out who the real enemy is. The foreign minds we posses make us see our own brothers from the other parts of the continent as aliens. This implies that the real enemy has found a safe hiding place in the recesses of our souls. A black man in South Africa is taking instructions from the fugitive he is hiding in his mind, an anti-Black mindset causing him to hate anything that looks like him. It is also time to chastise the black leadership that operates within an individualistic, self-serving paradigm.

Unravelling The Greatest Religious Conspiracy:Liberating the Scriptures from the Religious vernecular and Theological Constructs.
The church, an institution to whose doctrines our ancestors were brutally converted was the key instrument in the agitation and evocation of anti-Black sentiments and the de-spiritualization and de-culturalization of Africans. This diabolical mind was even expressed in official church documents that were somewhat considered sacrosanct. Church doctrinal promulgations were made on this. The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints, well known as the Mormons, is an example of this practice.
“The Negroes are not equal with other races where the receipt of certain spiritual blessings are concerned, particularly the priesthood and the temple blessings that flow therefrom…”

This is a religious dogma, a statement of faith. This is what religion can do, it can motivate people to press into action their evil inclinations, it gives you that kind of latitude. Is not the current mundane and degenerate state of the Black race a substance of what Europeans thought and believed about them? Their evil beliefs about us were so enormous, at such a height that we, having been hated for so long, ended up hating ourselves. We believed what our adversaries believed about us and made ourselves easily permeable and pregnable to ideas and substances aimed and leveled at our annihilation.
Sitting up in that church singing ‘whiter than snow I long to be’ with an inferiorating frame of mind, you know what an African has been visualizing. It is when a wishful thinking to become a white man is being entertained thus deepening the psychological feeling of inferiority in our people. Where we have been seeking spiritual uplifting has actually been were we have been dispirited.
One can trenchantly refer to this as an implementation by Europeans, of a tenacious policy made to convince you my black brother that being yourself was the problem. Because of cultural arrogance on the part of Europeans and spiritual and mental debilitation on our part as Africans, there rose a need among Europeans for the reconfiguration of how we conceptualized the idea of God and how we saw ourselves before and in relation to God. Africans saw God in their own image and likeness. God was everything in everything we laid our hands on – we did not need a religion to know and understand him. God was reflected in our lived experience.
Most probably, there was a threat to Europeans in their contemplation of world dominion, for when it came to Africa they found a spiritually all encompassing social system that was developing in harmony with the Creator. So, the reconfiguration of the African image of God was imperative. They had to unteach us and give us a substitute god, substitute law and substitute priests.
Liberating the Bible from captivity of religious vernacular and theological constructs, and setting out on the way to restore it back to Historical vernacular, taking politics out of secularism into spirituality, the rise of the Europeans to hegemony and the demise of the African glory is to be understood and dissected prophetically. It was the rise of the enemies of Truth and the demise of the sons of Light, the beginning of an era that is, in the Bible, prophetically termed famine, with the introduction into the world, of a mundane and hedonistic anti-God mind.
A pre-figured medieval character of the messiah that gave credence to Europeans was preached to and embraced by most Africans, and the one not even according to the African Hebraic understanding in the prophetic definition. You’ve got to see the strikingly remarkable parallels between our (African) history and what ancient Hebrew Israelite prophets of the Bible said was to happen to the Israelites.
Go through, among others, the Biblical prophecies found in the scriptural references cited below, study African History, and in it try to find events and occurrences you may attribute to or deem paralleling with these prophecies. It is the scriptures, read with a mind liberated from religious thought shackles, through which one can be able to reflect on our past, present and project on our potential future and aqcuire a spiritually insightful analysis in seeking to reconnect the now afflicted and debased Africans to their true history and former glory.

Remember the Trans-Atlantic slave trade in the 16th century? How did the African Diaspora come about? Which other people do you know of, in history, to have been taken from their indigenous land to a foreign land as slaves? If the people who are called Israelites in the Bible have our present white Jewish people as their descendants, how come their history in sequence of events has no prophetic affinity to the Biblical Israelites? If there is not an explanation to this, then we are left with the mystery of African history’s striking parallels with and prophetic affinity to the Bible.
Could Africans have by any chance been fooled into believing the scripture (Bible) is not their book but their adversaries’? Who said "THE BIBLE IS THE WHITE MAN'S BOOK?” Is it the same one who taught that ancient Egyptians were Caucasians (Europeans)? Don't you understand that's what he wants you to think? He wants you to accept as true the lie that you or your people are infidels, “Kaffirs” and have no relationship with the creator and no hand in that great manuscript, the Bible. He wants you to believe that he is the chosen one, and sadly you believe him.
If it is true that the current inhabitants of Israel are the true Jews and their occupation of Arab Palestine is prophetic; where is the messiah in their midst that the prophets said would get them there?
The following is the restoration plan as prophetically mapped out.
“I shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land”.

What an important and relevant question asked! It becomes clear that according to the prophecy, Jews who were to return to the land were to, let alone the prophetic requirement of the presence of the messiah in their midst, fully understand and keep the laws of the Creator. Unlike Jews who are in the land today, the majority of them are pagans and atheists. This is not anti-Semitic; this is anti-counterfeit Semitism if the reader believes the words of the prophets.
“Behold, I will make them of the Synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold I make them to come and worship before thy feet, and know that I have loved thee”.

There is great deception about the identity of the true Jews, and the one that seems to have paid great dividends to the deceiver. What is interesting to this is that there seems to be something spectacular about being a Jew. What could it be? Why don’t they lie about being Hindus, Muslims, Christians and so forth.

What an important and relevant question asked! It becomes clear that according to the prophecy, Jews who were to return to the land were to, let alone the prophetic requirement of the presence of the messiah in their midst, fully understand and keep the laws of the Creator. Unlike Jews who are in the land today, the majority of them are pagans and atheists. This is not anti-Semitic; this is anti-counterfeit Semitism if the reader believes the words of the prophets.

There is great deception about the identity of the true Jews, and the one that seems to have paid great dividends to the deceiver. What is interesting to this is that there seems to be something spectacular about being a Jew. What could it be? Why don’t they lie about being Hindus, Muslims, Christians and so forth.

FACING THE ENEMY IN US: DIS-ALIANATING OUR BLACKNESS
The philosophy of life, virtue and success behind most black families, at least with certain values and norms that were instilled in us when we were children, has always had us envision our utopia with white establishments and accomplishments. Of all my grandmother's grandchildren you would be her favourite simply because your are of a lighter complexion to the rest. When your complexion had darkened as result of melanin reaction to the Ultra-violet rays as a result of exposure to the sun, in protecting you against the cancer ill-effects thereof, your own mother, sisters, brothers, aunts and all the others in the family would somehow make you feel out of place – that you are no longer taking care of yourself or you are sick. When your complexion darkened because of the wonderful workings of this precious gift, pigment melanin, the creator has endowed a black man with, you were told that you have "lost" complexion when in actual fact you had gained colour.
What your family did not know was that the lighter the complexion the more vulnerable your skin is to ailments. The cultural milieu within which these values, norms and believes were taught to us through the family structure could not allow us to see the beauty in us in many ways.
I often heard my grandmother derogatorily call my cousin 'ntho e e ntsho' a Sesotho phrase meaning 'this black thing' or 'Rantsho' meaning 'father of blackness' shouting at him in reproof for having done something wrong. Hearing that would boost my empty light-skin good complexion ego. This mentality that I had was reinvigorated by my other big cousin brother who was obsessed with dating light-skinned girls. Each time he had seen one such sister I would overhear his conversation with his friends in which on the outset he would exuberantly exclaim 'Ma-authi ke bone ngwana le-wete, half-ngamsheshe', black township slang meaning 'friends, I've seen a beautiful girl, almost a white woman', here slang for 'beautiful girl' was 'le-wete' derived from English 'white', 'ngamsheshe' is a variation of 'ngam'la', a white person.
I remember one incident where my mother, my other cousin and myself were watching a television at night. If my memory serves me well, I was then 10 yrs of age. We were watching a movie, one of these European romantic movies, called 'Endless Love'. In the middle of it my mother was moved and carried away by the romantic life portrayed in it when she, with great passion, remarked, "White people are not like us, and they really have true love". Since that day I never envisioned my ideal future wife a black woman. My desire was to marry a white woman when I grow. Achieving that I would have felt I had reached the height of my ambition.
But what kind of mind could my mother have been expected to have when the media portrayed and still does portray a black man as an drunkard, sex maniac and women and child abuser and a white man as a loving and caring husband and/or a romantic boyfriend, whatever 'romance' means to us if it at all has any meaning.

The above statement by Asante can be dissected within the confines of introspection. Not only should we question our attitudes, our desires and pursuits are core in this introspection. An attitude is a person’s way of thinking or feeling, framework of a perception. Let us consider the proposition that your chief good can neither be something you esteem equal nor inferior to yourself. If you regard as your chief good something you esteem your equal, this would trap you either into an illusion or a frustration mode characterized by your unrealistic expectations far beyond what the object you esteem your chief good can provide. This may affect your autonomy of self for embracing an illusion can have an effect of you eluding your very existence; you begin to mythicize everything including your state of being. Concerning embracing that which is inferior to you, you yourself become inferior.
What if I have what Fanon refers to as a desire for whiteness which impels me to straighten my hair, lighten my skin, do nose jobs and act white in all mannerism and disposition? Here being white is an ideal I am so desperately striving, in futility, to bring to the reality of my being. If I can’t get a white woman to bed, the least I can settle for would be a light skinned Black sister who has either a fried hair or a pony tail attachment to her hair. The idea of being white now rules supreme in my life. I even stiffen and tighten my thick Black lips when I speak so as to modulate my accent and voice tonality to the European cultural patterns and rhythms of speech, disposition and all mannerism. In this state it can be safely said that a quasi-European personality has been fashioned, you are an ‘honorary white man’. The idea of being white is your chief good. You worship a European image, and in actual fact, a white man. Embracing an inferior idea has eventually made you inferior. You hate being yourself. You are a slave to your own desire, a desire for whiteness. The first step towards your emancipation would then be to confront the enemy that is lurking in the higher regions of your mind and recesses of your soul holding your mind captive to self-hate, and then challenge all the desires that threaten your “autonomous self”. By autonomous self I mean the self that is free from thought inhibitions in its nature impelled inextricable and indivisible duality with the universe. Being an individual here means being in an indivisible duality with the universe.
The infusion of an idea that to think and speak white is wise, and looking close to European is beautiful, was and still is demonisation of all those other than white. This idea was instilled in you at childhood; there is where it took root. Your adulthood simply matures and sanctions you inferiority complex.
Is White All Right?
Remember the somewhat innocent sayings like “Ngwana o o motle ekare ke popo” (meaning ‘this child is as beautiful as a doll”) coming out of your mother’s or aunt’s mouth? She was surely not taking about a doll resembling a dog, monkey or chimpanzee; she was talking about a doll resembling a European white girl/woman. Your sense of beauty was made analogous to a white man’s image, standards and dictates. Your poor mother or aunt had no idea about the hell she was made to raise out of you – a hell of self-hate, self-negation, and self-alienation and self-torment and destruction. This is how from childhood we were destined to be a non-people.
After more than a decade of what was proclaimed freedom and democracy in South Africa, you would think that young black South African girls and boys would have a better self-image. They don’t. In our world of bleached blonds – white-skinned, brown-skinned and black—black is still not beautiful.
Let me relate an illustrious story in this regard: My widowed sister in-law and her son are light-skinned and so was her deceased husband. She once told my wife and I how her 7yrs old son disliked the man she was dating simply because the brother was a very dark-skin fellow falling short of colour standards set in the little boy's mind.
One of the things contributing to or perhaps a potent tool used by white supremacists in this daylight identity robbery committed to our children is exposing our little daughters to playing with white dolls. If you can take two dolls that are identical, except one is brown, the other white, and present them to 10 black girls at pre-school level, and ask them to show you the doll that looks bad or the one they would like to play with, I bet you, eight out of ten will chose the white doll to play with. And if you would further ask why they think the one they chose was beautiful they will probably tell you because it is white.
It is from childhood, through exposure to things like white dolls, where "good hair/bad hair standard was modeled. That is why my beloved black sister to this day you still believe that the more naturally straight the hair, the better the quality it is.
In almost every culture children epitomize innocence and purity. Now, if a black girl plays a mother in a children's play called in Sesotho mantlwanetlwane and has a white doll as her puppet for a child, the black girl learns to relate to innocence and purity through this doll. Her sense of care, kindness, sympathy and adoration is thus evoked. This reminds me of my childhood perceptions of white people. Watching a boxing match as a child, I would feel sad so when a white contender gets blows from a black contender. I believe it was imbedded in my subconscious mind that white is innocent and pure, and black is ugly and evil. Today in wrestling sport, have you ever wondered why most black children are more inclined into having white wrestlers such as John Cena, HHH, Randy Orton etc as their icons than black wrestlers such as King Booker, Bobby Leshly, Elijah Burke etc. Is their solely based on merits? I contend it is not.
Your psychological feeling of inferiority triggered in the evil genius scientist’s mind a sense of innovation and got his destructive creative juices flowing. It pays him great dividends for you to hate yourself so much; He blesses your negative self-image by inventing and patenting bleaching (skin-whitening) creams, hair-straightening and blonding products, blue eye contact lenses and nose-job surgery. He comes wise out of your foolishness. It is in his best interest that your life rotates upon an axis of illusions. The entire cosmetics industry is making billions out of our destruction.
If know what a colon is and what its function is, you will then understand in depth and magnanimity what it means to be “colon-ised”; to be colonized means to be made or turned into somebody else’s colon.
